Encoders - LM Family
| |
| |
| |
Amount encoding at branch level is a widely appreciated solution for branches that do not wish to rely on a service center for the completion of the check processing phases. LM 100 systems are compact and versatile: the basic unit can be used at the teller for manual document feeding, reading and encoding, and it is connected via serial RS-232C interface. |
Optional modules can increase the performance and flexibility of the system.
They include:
-
ASF113: 300-document capacity automatic feeder
-
SRT133: 3-bin sorter module - up to three SRT's can be added up for a max. total of 10 sorting bins (3x3 + reject bin)
-
ISS122: duplex (front & rear) imaging module which can enhance the LM 100 to a full-function processing system, in this case interfaced by SCSI2 for more efficient data transfer.

LM 100M ("multifont") encodes either CMC7, E13B, OCR-A, OCR-B or barcode by using low-noise ETR printing technology. The font is selected by simple software command. |
LM 100I ("impact"), specifically developed for E13B markets, uses instead an impact high-definition 24-pin print head.
Add-ons for both versions include an OCR read head (on MICR reading systems), a barcode read head, an ink-jet endorsement printer and two roller stamps mounted on the ISS 122. |
